About the partners
Mongabay.com seeks to raise interest in and appreciation of wild lands and wildlife, while examining the impact of emerging trends in climate, technology, economics, and finance on conservation and development.
RESOLVE’s Biodiversity and Wildlife Solutions program facilitates novel, collaborative processes, which identify and apply innovative science and technology to improve the monitoring and protection of Earth’s biodiversity. Building on RESOLVE’S convening expertise, BWS connects conservationists with tech leaders, provides a forum for discussion and action to promote biodiversity conservation, and improves the spatial analysis of global biodiversity information.
The World Resources Institute is a global research organization that works with governments, businesses and civil society to sustain our natural resources—the foundation of economic opportunity and human well-being. WRI’s Forest Legality program aims to improve forest governance and biodiversity conservation by supporting and promoting the rapid development, deployment and uptake of technologies that enable detection of illegal logging activities and greater transparency in forest product supply chains.
